How to Turn Off Calendly Header and GDPR Banner

Updated over 8 months ago

If you're looking to create a cleaner and more focused scheduling experience on Calendly, turning off the event type header and GDPR banner is a simple way to do so. By appending a specific string to your Calendly URL, you can remove both elements from your scheduling page, offering a more streamlined and professional look.

Here's how you can turn off the Calendly header and GDPR banner:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Copy Your Existing Calendly URL

    • Go to your Calendly account and locate the URL for the event type you want to share (e.g., a 30-minute meeting or consultation link).

  2. Modify the URL

    • Append this string to the end of your Calendly URL:

      ?hide_event_type_details=1&hide_gdpr_banner=1
  3. Example

    • If your original Calendly URL is:

      https://calendly.com/EXAMPLE/30min
    • It will now look like this:

      https://calendly.com/EXAMPLE/30min?hide_event_type_details=1&hide_gdpr_banner=1
  4. Share the Modified Link

    • Now, you can share this updated link with your clients. They will no longer see the event type details or the GDPR banner, resulting in a cleaner page focused solely on the scheduling form.

By making this simple adjustment, you'll enhance the user experience and improve the overall appearance of your Calendly scheduling page.
